I would like you guys to meet CHRIS TEFR, a Feebas I caught in Sapphire. This was way back in 2003 when I was only 8 years old. That probably explains the retarded name, which I vaguely recall finding extremely hilarious. Being as young as I was, I had no idea what a Feebas was, but none of my friends had one so I knew it was special. I remember grinding it out for hours to get it to evolve to no avail. When I heard it evolved from beauty, I threw as many pokeblocks at it as I could, but without rhyme or reason, I doomed it.
As I grew up, I stopped playing pokemon. Mindlessly, I gave my games to my only friend with a DS so he could migrate my pokemon forward. This would be the last time I saw CHRIS TEFR, or so I thought.
Flash forward 8 years to when I was in high school. My same friends and I renew our interest in pokemon because of the impending release of Black and White. One guy finds his old copy of Pearl and we do some exploring. On there, we find our old pokemon, including my last remaining pokemon from my original Sapphire, CHRIS TEFR. I immediately sent it to my SoulSilver, and from there to Black.
This pokemon is almost 12 years old. I'm only 20. This pokemon has been around through almost every significant event in my life. In 12 years, this pokemon has never evolved. Fortunately for CHRIS TEFR, there is now a marvel scale. I plan on evolving it soon, and from there sending it forward to X and Omega Ruby after that.
CHRIS TEFR, your decade long journey is almost over. Thanks for being there.
