I've had a lot of stupid deaths (also Cheryl got two fucking freezes on me and I lost my Eterna Forest encounter because I didn't realize Drayano gave her her full team so I can't just murder Chansey and get an easy catch.) and honestly I doubt this is the run but I'll try to go as far as I can. Here's the lineup for Gardenia. I think Snover is a bait and -Atk Ice Shard isn't enough for it to make the cut. Flareon is for sure gonna be the MVP but I'm hoping my support options can deal with the rest. Getting the 10% Dratini before the 60% Magikarp is crazy though and honestly Gyarados is probably better but fuck it we ball. Also it's sad that half of my team is Grass weaknesses so I have lots of grinding to do. Icy Wind Prinplup isn't unbringable but I don't think it's worth the risk.
Also I'm very happy to get Hitmontop because Hitmontop is a cutie. I got Intimidate which is great but honestly looking at this thing's movepool Technician is so good too. I love it when both of a pokemon's abilities are good in their own way.
I'll even forgive the bad nature.>>55277587Like the another anon said, I think that works a lot better for the newer games where you have routes with a lot of encounters instead of earlier games where there's usually a more obvious "good encounter."
>>55278019Aw shucks, it's always tough losing a pokemon to a new catch. Trevenant should be worth it though. And yeah, that's totally a villain team lol. I love it.
>>55278868Do what you have to do.
>>55282515Yeah, Selfdestruct is a crazy move. You still have the makings of a solid team.
