>>52146438>>52146269There's a non zero chance ON TOP of all of this, that Eternatus might actually be involved, too. I know this one is a stretch, though. Eternatus came to the world something like 20,000 prior to the modern era and slept under Galar. It's EXPLICITLY extraterrestrial, too. And it's body gives off constant energy that created the Dynamax phenomena and eventually the Gigantamaxes. Gigatamax is really sketchy to begin with, and it makes me wonder if it's supposed to be similar to Paradox shit and Mega Evolution? It's...suspicious. It also used to encase itself in a weird egg, apparently.
It makes me wonder if we should all stop and take inventory of all the alien Pokemon and see if this shit might all be connected.
A Lovecraftian monster Pokemon might be a really intense extraterrestrial. Like, in the works of Lovecraft Azathoth was the origin of all things. He was the blind, screaming, idiot god of creation. He was something called an "Outer God" specifically. A being from outside our universe who punctured the veil and slipped in (or just created it) then created everything on accident afterward. Specifically it was an alien, though. Sort of. The Great Old Ones (Cthulhu was one of these) were beings from our Universe originally, who were the children of Outer Gods. They existed more on the mental level, sort of being somewhere between thought and physical. Living on dream planes and shit because they were eternally sleeping in the real world until the time was right for them to awaken and end all things.
