I dug some of the stuff Mr. X and Y was coming up with. A Normal/Fighting Kangaroo with diverging evos based on gender would be pretty cool. Could fit the whole "x/y chromosomes" theme if you buy into that. Also the pseudos and Legendaries he suggested sounded pretty cool (a Black Hole Pokemon, Clover Dragon, and Card Suit-based Legends IIRC). I just love the idea of unique typing combos.
