They have better mid-evolutions than final evolutions. Chikorita is the worst starter and even one of the worst grass types. Its such a shame. Feraligatr is pretty fucking cool.

A really strong line up. Not much to say, they got rather good designs. Great Gen

A little bit weak. Twerktwig ends up becoming like Venusaur. Chimchar becomes another fire fighting. Pingu is the only good one with a rather meh mid evolution.

Another weak one. Yet another fire fighting which doesn't do anything different. Very boring grass type and even the water type this time is pretty boring.
>Kalos Starters
All of them have a cool themeing. All of them also have a dual typing circle with GrassFighting>FirePsychic>WaterDark and all look pretty nice
>Alola Starters
Its alright. Owl got a good design and typing. Fire Furry is ok but looks like a fucking cereal mascott and the Wafiu seal is more likely to have a dick.
