But here, they've made an amazing leap from sprites to absolutely beautiful 3D models, when what I was expecting from the next generation was just 3D moving sprites or something. Plus, they made one of my childhood dreams come true. When I was younger and the DS was a new thing, I was playing Nintendogs and thinking "Wow, what if I could pet and play with my Pokemon like this? Why isn't there a game like this?", but I also thought deep down they'd never make something that cool. But they did, so it was really a very pleasant surprise when I found out.
