posting a storyless update to ask for advice
i'm actually planning on overhauling my team, and I need your help. I have all this shit in my boxes and won't be getting another encounter for a while (until i'm out of Chargestone Cave, which I just entered). I also want to use a lot of it, but i'm torn.
I have a Petilil with Own Tempo and a good ability, and have been wanting to use it for a little while due to having a Sun Stone. If I bring her out of the boxes, i'll likely evolve her immediately so she can learn Quiver Dance. It's no big deal for her moveset either since I already have the Energy Ball TM.
But I've used Petilil so so many times before, and even if I have no other grass options this'd be like my sixth time using it, in a Nuzlocke especially.
I also have an Azumarill with Huge Power and a great nature which would easily blow Brown out of the water with her subpar... everything. But I don't want to grind it up right now, or lose it trying. Alongside also having used it more than twice.
Same goes for Axew, Eevee, Solosis.
I've used a lot of these Pokémon more than once before, whereas i've never gone through a game with a Golduck. I want to avoid using Pokémon i've used many times before in this team, and yet my literal lynchpin is an Audino, a Pokémon singlehandedly responsible for getting me through 3 other Nuzlockes and a mon I had on my team on the run directly preceding this one.
Uhh, I don't know the point i'm trying to make anymore. Basically, I'm very torn between benching a lot of my team due to being unhappy with the composition (likely Paris, Brown, maybe Columbia) or just sticking with it until someone dies. So far i've been tempted to and doing the latter, but for some reason it's really bothering me that I haven't changed anything so I don't know what to do.
Should I just leave things as they are or redo a lot? I have in-story explanations ready for both.
(Also, still not adding a sixth member until I find an Emolga.)
