>>35743675That's true but take a look at the matter from other standpoint. We already "won" quite a lot from all of the "pokemon" hubbub over the course of these 2 decades. We had lots of fun while it lasted. It'd be nice to stay target audience for longer but did we really have any real say on the matter before? Hardly any. We got all the good things simply by virtue of the producers. Now that they shifted their attention to another target audience and production values who we even are to judge them for that. I mean, it's bittersweet but there is no farewell to a beloved thing that isn't.
Besides the pokemon fad had great influence on the growing generations who are already taking their attempts at making video games. Who knows, maybe a pokemon clone that catches the spirit of games that we grew up on is just behind the corner. It may not earn even a fraction of the recognition and popularity of the original it was inspired by but perosnally I'd be content with just having that.

>mobile gamebut it was a very well-made pokemon clone with many neat ideas. Sadly the later part of it was obviously rushed but I had great fun with it still.
