>>51880167The way this site works requires constant replies to a thread for said thread to stay visible. With barely any moderation, threads naturally fill up with bait posts and replies. OPs get a dose of dopamine as their threat stays afloat and thus chemically incentivizes inflamatory behaviour and infighting.
Doesn't help that this site has been around for quite a long time and it has develloped its own "culture" around posting, which gives users a sense of tribalism. That also further bolsters gatekeeping tocicity.
Don't pay too much attention to this though. I wrote it while taking a shit.
