But that's being disingenuous again, I'd seen scooby after seeing Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse and a whole plethora of other talking cartoon animals, some actual size living with normal human-sized humans, some anthromorphic and human-sized and some even REPLACING humans entirely. Now by rights, they're animals and shouldn't be able to do this, which is where the key point of being able to distinguish between fantasy and reality come is and if a world is set in an obviously fantastical setting to our real world , then I'm not going to hold it to following what happens in the real world.
