>>45199407Speaking as someone who likes Calyrex here, I'll be completely honest. This is like, 9 hours old, but my biggest criticisms have got to be completely removing the flower motifs, nigh-removing the crown, and scrapping the ambiguity that came with his base design. The first two are a bit self-explanatory, those are important aspects to both its lore and the story, and are even the reason for its name, so it makes absolutely no sense to scrap them but still even call it Calyrex. This barely looks like a king and looks nothing like a flower. The Ambiguity one is one that I'll elucidate in saying that just making it a bat cutemon is stupid. Its clear that Calyrex's design is supposed to convey at least some sort of royal elegance and gracefulness along with being a bit eerie and imposing su==due to the imposing proportions-all of which serve to tie back into its kingly mature by immediately drawing attention to its flower bud. This design honestly convey none of that. It barely looks like what's supposed to be a "Box Legend", with two fused forms that give it insane stats. I think in trying to make it more like the cutemon mythical of before you completely missed the point and came out with something that was just muddled and lacked focus. In the end, it really does look like you made a cute bat and then slapped Calyrex features on it and called it a redesign.
