Despite the fact that there are more reasons for Fairy to not exist than for it to exist, I plain just don't like the type. It's MLP: the type. Aimed at little girls and people with the mentality of little girls. It doesn't appeal to the wider audience of Pokemon players, and the fact that it is the only non-gender-neutral type in the game, obviously reaching towards a specifically gendered audience. It'd be like if they made an Awesome type that consisted solely of Pokemon with/that look like tits and ass, or were huge explosions and military helicopters (the helicopter being the Awesome-type equivalent of Klefki).
There's so much that makes fairy a shit type, and that's why I refuse to acknowledge it. You can like it if you want
but you'd still be wrong/and or a little girl>Not liking ElectrodeNigga, just because it's a simple design doesn't mean it's bad. Simple can be done well, and over-the-top can be done well. Then there's just plain campy and cheesy.
