>>12555931"N-No, NOT AT ALL! I'm just being protective. There ain't nothing to this place you'll be wanting to look over. Just take a quick look! A QUICK ONE, and then shove out, I already have a ton of missing bots and broken ones to work with, don't make fix you a new one too!"
Funny how now he changes his mind..
Just like he suggested, we did a quick look over of the engine room, not a big and deep one as we could have done, but just enough to take all of the surroundings in. I wanted to do a deeper observation, but it was evident that Scrafty wanted us out as quickly as possible.
That said, there wasn't anything particularly out of place, no bodies, no blood, nothing that would condone him as a suspect or the place in general as being a place of criminal activity. The only notable thing that struck us as odd was that the animatronics didn't seem to be stored in an orderly fashion, in fact some weren't even stored at all, they were just haphazardly skewed all over the floor. Some disassembled entirely with parts like their heads or eyes just all about.
We chalked that up to Scrafty's working attitude, however.
We walked back to him, "Alright, so you proved your point. You're innocent for now, but unless you give us something serious to work with, I'm not so sure we can leave yet."
Scrafty, in mid-work session again, pulled up his mask and removed his goggles, "Again with ye two, eh? Fine then! Don't be tellin' this to anybody else, but since I've been up all night, I've been 'earing these strange noises, they kinda sound like my bots, but they're different somehow...They's not acting like how I tell 'em to act! I keep a close eye, eh, but sometimes they slip out from under my nose... ANYWHO! That's all, piss the hell off!"
As we headed out, Quags mumbled, "Gee, what a 'charmer'."
