I think breeding is tedious as fuck and I've never done it, but I'm glad that people were able to improve their pokemon through hard work and incredible knowledge of the game's deepest mechanics.
Hopefully the way to get bottlecaps has enough gameplay that it's more of an alternate route to getting a perfect pokemon than a way for any nugget who picks up the game to be able to min max. As a former WoW player, streaming may look neat and be cool in the short term, but it can add up and leave the game as an empty shell of itself. Unlike WoW though, pokemon doesn't rely as hard on RPG mechanics to build up the gameplay, so while I'm a bit dissapointed about this change, I'm completely okay with it.
That being said the guy in the video you posted is a complete fucking nugget pissing about nothing for eleven minutes. It's reactionary nonsense with no real substance. Here's some nice chickens.
