When you see a specific Deoxys forme, you already know what you're going into. Defense and Speed have done the exact same job since DP with very little variation. Then people start to catch on, new pokemon/moves are added and they have a better shot at beating it each and every gen. This one in particular being a big one because Knock Off, Defog and the huge power creep.
Deoxys-D was fucking LU at one point on Pokemon Online. That's where they send pokemon like Rhyperior and Sceptile. It's not -that- good anymore because it hasn't grown like a lot of other pokemon have.
