>>39756122>Gen 5Honestly pretty fun, looking back at it, my love for it has actually grown, it rivals gen 4 with it's environments you get to travel in, world feels bigger even if you go in a half circle, but has some small areas to wounder into, only real issue is that isn't enough of these area's in game sense you rail roaded by the plot, which the best, by Pokemon standards, it feel more grand to go though, top tier soundtrack, the new Pokemon are hit or miss, but has some heavy hitters, evil team is okay. Rivals could have spent a little more time in the oven, Gym leaders a much more active and have more character, final section of the game where all the gym leaders help is pure Kino, decent challenge, and a pretty good post game, and with the rest of the region opened up does make it feel like your adventure hasn't actually ended, and being restricted to only the new pokemon actually is kinda fun sense you get to start at square one again if you are a long time fan that is(you also can every pokemon in the post game.) B2W2 is even better, you also get access to older Pokemon which is good because that charm the first had with it would have worn off, and allows it have a better monster selection
>gen 6First real 3D transition, and it's kinda bland, models themselves aren't bad, just that they stay their statically and it makes them feel very lifeless, and some Pokemon just hover in place, looking at xatu. Nice environments but feels way to small, story is clearly rushed, along with game itself, I can forgive it for being the first true 3D Pokemon adventure, but it's pretty sloppy.
Rivals? What Rivals?
