ITT: Ideas that Pokemon Switch could use from other games and how you'd adapt them

Any thoughts?
Breath of the Wild:
>All HMs/Ridemon, Gyms and most areas accessible from the start (have the odd cave/forest restricted based on number of badges but otherwise the overworld itself is open)
>Gym trainers and leaders scale up according to how many badges you have
>Have one gym reserved to be the eighth, though
>Have mini boss type Pokemon in the overworld like Snorlax that don't block compulsory routes, but do block the way to useful items, TMs and more, that are more highly levelled than other Pokemon on those routes
>Starting area in the centre of the region, the further out you go the higher the level of wild Pokemon and trainers are to varying extents by direction from the centre, i.e. there will be some Gym orders that are tougher than others but none that are downright impossible if you're competent
>As Masuda worries about accessibility for kids, have NPCs tell the player at route gates stuff like "You're way too underleveled for this place, try somewhere else for now", or "You're underleveled but not too badly, I recommend you bring X type pokemon here"
>Maybe have some high risk high reward elements in going to areas underleveled. Off the top of my head I picture the new player character going through a cave trying to avoid a high level Steelix's line of sight to reach a powerful TM early in their adventure
