>>57779339The post-volume commentary for and SwSh and SV were really telling that either they're being restricted in some way on what they're allowed to say. Normally, you'd have a note thanking the readers for their support, an explanation of what themes were being conveyed, or a funny story related to Pokemon. It'd be like "oh Kusaka once asked a friend to calculate how many hours of Pokemon he played, and then refused to ask him of the total because he knew it was an obscene amount" or "Kusaka bought a car because its colour was described as Royal Ruby Pearl Red" or "Yamamoto watched the entirety of Dexter to prepare to write Blake." Other than the occasional post from Yamamoto's twitter, that type of candid commentary is just completely gone; every mini-volume post-commentary is just them shilling the games and I'm sure they do love them, but it's the only thing they seem to be allowed to talk about. I'm also out of Sapphire doodles unless I start posting Yamamoto's short comic doodles with Sapphire in them.
