>>41666958It makes it much more obvious that they are suffering to be alive. I can't think cute when I see a little raptor barely able to breathe or a fish forced to live on land. Making them slicker like in pic related would have made them much more likable. Literally 3 people liked these fossils before we found out two of them were good competitively.
