With this gimmick, what would stop people from just loading up their teams with sweepers, and then just picking which sweeper that worked best against the other player to dynamax to dominate the other team?
Wallbreaking isn't really a problem anymore, since dynamax/gigantamax attacks are just z-moves with secondary effects, so sweepers can act as both a sweeper and a wallbreaker.
Plus, you can hold an item while using it, and because anyone on the team can get the dynamax boost (only once per battle though) what would be stopping players from just overloading their teams with nothing but sweepers that held life orbs/leftovers?
Just some theorycrafting on this mechanic for competitive play. Which if it's true, then that whole talk about "better balancing" was a total fucking sham as well.
