Ash takes Latias into the boat and comforts them.>This Latias has shown curiosity and later romantic interest in Ash and taking a human form when visiting him. Including holdings hands, giving him a kiss, and hugging him when feeling distressed.>Toward the end of the movie Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Bianca, Lorenzo, and Latias return the Soul Dew to the Secret Garden. This restores water to the place and also keeps it safe from being used for a defense weapon again.>Literal next scene has the gang leaving, apparently some allotted time has past based on the fact they were in the Secret Garden prior. They pass by the Lorenzo and his Gondola workshop, which has a door that directly connects to the secret garden and he was in there with them when the Soul Dew was returned.>There is also now Latias and two Latios, but its unknown how those Latios were made. Seeing as how throughout most of the film, there was only 1 Latias and 1 Latios seen. There was also no scene of how these Latios came to be. But it does now mean that there is now 2 more Latios in the world somehow.>The kiss that Ash got at the end, also featured the reactions of Pikachu, Misty and Ash. Misty was shocked, Brock was jealous, and Pikachu reacting in a very positive supportive way. Which is rare as the only other time Pikachu does this is with Serena.>The movie intentionally relies on quiet a few show don't tell moments a lot when it comes to Latias.
