He has some stiff competition and there's a candidate that's a sleeper agent for the evil organization in this game.
So this chapter involves helping scope out the agent and then finally you play through a tournament as Ghost boy (with his team) to earn the title of gym leader.
After this, you can still visit him and hang out but only one certain days.
He'll talk about gym duties.
Reflect on both of your journeys. Invite you to try out new shops/openings on the island.

Pokemon will never offer anything of this depth though and that makes me sad because now I love my imaginary Ghost rival.
(I always make my trainers Hexes in their teams so this makes my own trainer compliment him p well)
