Red/Blue actually has something that resembles chemistry, even if romance is not really PokeSpe's strong suit and is (thankfully) very much secondary to the adventure. They bounce off of each other often and actually interact and display concern for each other more often than anyone else. You got stuff like
>Red genuinely worrying about why she's freaking out at the league in the first arc>Blue keeping an eye on him and being the first person to realize he's gone missing in the Yellow arc>both of them helping and trying to pick each other up when they're at their lowest in the FRLG arc >come across as protective of each other in the ORAS are And they are pretty much each other's most important person besides their Pokemon and then Green (for Red) and Silver (for Blue). Not "proof" that this is the omega endgame, I genuinely don't think PokeSpe will ever have actually confirmed endgame romances besides Ruby/Sapphire.
