people who try to make new pokemon types are the most frighteningly oblivious types of autists on earth, it never occurs to them how fucking stupid and pointless these ideas are, they aren't responding to a need for a new type to affect the game's balance, they just think "duhhhh what if there was a pancake type???" and then they take any pokemon and move that could conceivably be connected in some tangential way to pancakes, slap em on a graph and act like they've done something of value.
