No other place tries to push the narrative that Gen 4/5 are 2D this hard in order to have a blanket statement that "3D bad" when in actuality what's bad is the unsustainable and half-assed model they've been pulling since Sun and Moon that has roots all the way back in XY.
3D Pokemon isn't bad by any means, but GameFreak sure is trying to make it feel like it.
