After Generation II. Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire didn’t appeal to me and I was going into middle school at the time so Pokémon was seen as a “game for kids” so that’s another reason I stopped playing the series for the most part.
Later on, I played my brother’s copy of Pokémon Black and found it boring. Pokémon HeartGold was decent but it didn’t capture the feeling of playing the original.
Playing Pokémon X was a terrible experience. It literally gave me a headache every time I played it so I didn’t even complete it.
The last Pokémon game I played was the Pokémon Sun and Moon demo. It was also pretty boring.
