I'm playing Pokémon Stadium 2 and essentially using it as a box to store my Yellow and Gold version brokémon just in case my GB cartridge batteries die. I find the gameplay pretty good but I've got to say that compared to the original Stadium the downloadable prize Pokémon (the ones you can keep and transfer over to the gameboy games as opposed to just renting them temporarily) are underwhelming to say the least. All you get is a Gliscor that knows earthquake (kind of cool I guess...) and a farfetch'd that knows baton pass (lame). In the original Stadium, though you don't get any legendaries, you get really cool prizes including starters and unique Pokémon that you could otherwise only get one of in the games (such as the fossils and hitmonlee/hitmonchan). I'm kind of disappointed by it, as I'm not even that far into the game for Gold version (I have 7 badges) and I have ALREADY caught a gliscor and a Farfetch'd, so they really aren't helping me fill my Pokédex and nor will they probably see much competitive use against the E4 or against my friends. Is there a reason they gave us such shitty gifts for playing this game? Why couldn't we get starters, legendaries or rare Pokémon that actually help people fill their Pokédex?
