So maybe digimon was for higher IQ kids but we are talking about mass appeal here if the kid who likes digimon sees all of his friend trading pokemon he will start playing pokemom too
Also 150 pokemon vs like 70 digimon i guess and the main digimon all are just a little blob in their baby form
