>>56105806>Clefable used Focus BlastClefable loses to Archaludon virtually every time, Flash Cannon is a 98% chance 2KO even with no SPATK EVs on Archaludon and 252 HP / 252 SPDEF / 4 DEF Clefable, and it needs only 8 EVs to secure a guaranteed 2KO. Archaludon is also much faster, unless you invest 204 EVs into SPD at which case you forego a significant amount of defensive utility (252 HP / 52 SPDEF / 204 SPD) and all it will take for Archaludon to end you is a little bit of speed investment of its own (56 SPD) or a not uncommon 252 HP / 252 SPDEF / 4 SPATK setup. By the way, none of this takes into account items, Archaludon basically always runs either Leftovers or Assault Vest, both of which allow it to turn Clefable's 2KO with a defensive setup into a 3KO and thus mean that Clefable will be unable to avoid the 2KO from Flash Cannon. If Clefable is running a 252 SPATK setup and either 252 HP / 4 SPDEF or 252 SPDEF / 4 HP then Archaludon will always outspeed and thus doesn't have to worry about the 2KO from Focus Blast. At this point your only option is Tera Ground since if you go with Tera Water all Archaludon needs is a Power Herb to OKO with Electro Shot, or to 2KO anyways with Thunder or Thunderbolt, and Tera Steel leaves you OKOed by Body Press (Since you spent all your EVs on other stats). By the way, all of this assumes that you manage to hit Focus Blast twice in a row.
>TLDR: 1v1 the staple remover wins 99% of the time and Clefable needs to Tera or score a crit in order to beat it.I will conclude by saying that Clefable is virtually always used as a physical wall and you have to be indescribably unhinged to run it as a special wall (because Blissey exists, although that too forces a Tera since Archaludon can just take it out with Stamina boosted Body Press) or an attacker of any kind. There are so many better Focus Blast users like Gholdengo and Iron Valiant (Hydreigon if you're old school) and I don't know why you would run it on motherfucking Clefable.
