Obviously no matter what I post I'll get people coming out of the woodwork to claim they hate them. Still, I am of course fully open to critique. I tried my best to be objective here and not allow my personal biases to effect it but I'm sure I made some slip ups.
I don't think I've seen many negative comments about Chandelure for example but I know there's always a portion of the fanbase who hates Pokemon like that on principle. I took a look at Gens 4 and 7, and I don't think there's a single Pokemon in them who's both somewhat popular and also not highly divisive. I thought about maybe using Turtwig, Torterra, Croagunk, or Weavile for 4 and Rockruff for 7 but that could just be the bias talking. I almost feel like I failed just with my singular choices for each.
