Ribombee guy here. Well now, that was quite a way to end such a climatic fight but I didn't expect two big fights in one chapter. While both were pretty neat, I think the duel between CIS4 and Crimson felt pretty short compared to the next fight. What I would suggest is having chapter 7's climax focus on their duel and dilema/internal conflict of the queens to 'settle the score,' with
FLOWERED Taranza making his entrance at the conclusion of Chapter 7, thus pushing and making that flight/climax around the start of chapter 8. That way, you can prevent two (action type) climaxes fighting over the limelight in the same chapter.
In addition, if you really want to anchor down how much he had fallen to 'save the swarm'
he could lightly jab or push Crimson out of the way to the wall initially, along with smashing the combee wall.Either way, congratulations on completing this 1 year old story. While I joined in pretty late in reading it, what I read was pretty. Can't wait to see what else you have in store.
This does beg to question though,
if Taranza is indeed killed so hard he died to death, where would the next Ribombee side story fall into this, before or after his death, considering that Ribombee's last interaction with the hive was with him answering his questions?
