(Though unlike the manga, the games give us no reason to believe Giovanni gives a shit about Silver. The manga had Silver get kidnapped as a child and Giovanni unable to find him for years before finally tracking him down in the FR/LG arc and lovingly claiming him as his son, while canon Giovanni left him and everything else behind because he was asshurt over getting trashed by some ten year old three times.)
