>>52139628>missingnoThis fucking thing right here awakened something in me all those years ago. It was hard for me to comprehend how this world that felt so real could suddenly break apart at the seams and present us with abominations like this. I didn't understand computer programming or assembly language, so trying to rationalize how this could even happen was the cause of many sleepless nights.
A few years later I got a GameShark off eBay for the purpose of seeing just how much I could fuck with these games and their glitches. I kept logs of what I did, even ended up trying every possible Pokemon ID and making a Pokedex for the hundred+ different glitch Pokemon, complete with my attempts at drawing their front and back sprites. To 11 year old me it really felt like stepping into a world of the unknown, to document creatures that nobody before me knew existed (at the time there was no complete glitch dex available online). There was even an element of danger to it as I knew my save file could get corrupted. God damn that was so much fun, I like to imagine it was similar to the feeling generations before mine got exploring the real world on their own, documenting all the weird species they found. I wonder, does an equivalent of this exist for Gen Z?
