I pose a question though, how do you guys feel about freebies? This game is chuck full of them, do you think they're cheap? Should I save them as reserves in case there's a KO? I think the game sort of expects you to use them, or at least it seems weird to not use the Kanto starters when the game expects you to Mega Evolve. Not using one would just be denying the mechanic, I think.
In any case Squirtle would be nice cause IIRC, the water selection is very weak early on. What do you think?
