i recently got sun after not playing pokemon since SS and i noticed getting shinies seems more common than before (got a goomy and mareanie in one egg each trying to fill pokedex). i just got the shiny charm last night and i want to start hunting for shinies. i noticed alot of people in this thread got them through SOS chaining and i wanted to know if that is the preferred method over breeding eggs.
