So anyway, welcome to Reborn city. It's a fucking shithole and everyone hates it. Toxic water, slums, gangs and you will hate it too. When I first got off the train earlier the game actually ran pretty smooth, but after getting my first mon this city proceed ro run a silky smooth sub-20 FPS. It's fucking awfully optimised because of the fuckhuge map size. I'm thinking that they actually made a whole seperate map for the intro alone, which makes their coding about Game Freak's standard.
The reborn region has somewhat nice map in-game, you can see the city, the desrt, the island, the werid wasteland to the southeast, the wilderness outside and the fuckhuge waterfall coming from the northern mountains. They put work into this, but this isn't a very practical map. The worldbuilding is definitely interesting though.
