It really shows that each and every pokemon, no matter how strong, weak, cute ugly, has their place in this world.
I know it is sad that a beloved game franchise has kinda failed us in that regard, even if the games do come out looking and feeling fantastic against all odds, but in a way, the franchise needs this.
In order to understand and avoid pain, you must feel pain to begin with.
I'm sure this is the storm before the rainbow, and that we must endure it and let GAMEFREAK know that this decision was a very poor and hurtful one, despite how petty or entitled it may seem.
As a fan, I hope that this franchise can reach the same glory it once had, heck I believe it has still maintained that glory, and it is just that I'm older now.
I really hope they at least do something during gen 8 to rectify this disaster. Galar looks beautiful and i feel bad for brits who have to shoulder the 'black sheep' of the pokemon franchise. If they release a 2nd version later down the track that fixes all this laziness, that would be the best possible way going forward.
