This fucker was trying to throw hands last night with me in the replies of a dumbass tweet about gamers needing to //apologize// to game freak for accusing them of obviously reusing animations and models. It literally came down to him just saying "you can't not like the game without buying it first" and "you can't judge the game through demos and promotional gameplay footage".
He actually believes that the shit that's made to sell the fucking game can't be used to decide whether or not the game is a worthwhile purchase, and insists that buying the game is my only option if I want to have any negative opinion of the game. He's insane, fuckin crazy.
I don't hate the guy, nor do I want to, but jesus, the blind acceptance of mediocrity he exhibits is so worrying and it scares me to think of how the future of consumerism will be. I'm still keeping my mind open to the game being worth buying because I fucking love pokemon more than most things in life, but I refuse to allow myself to accept less tangible content by giving excuses for a mega-corporation's complacency.
