I was complaining about how the problem with the Kanto starters in XY was how early on it is, and that Sycamore isn't the right person to be handing them out because NPC dialogue refers to him as Rowan's protege. I was offering up a solution by having Blue appear in the post-game and give the player the choice of a Kanto starter, and that he could then be a playable battle with his team using the starter super effective to the one you picked up from him.
