So Cue Ball got pocketed when a Veteran's Glaceon responded to a +1 Flash Cannon with Mirror Coat, and Powdread was snuffed in a last-ditch effort to Burn Totem Kommo-o after two missed Wisps. It finally worked, but then the Noivern dusted him with Air Slash. My "Spam Intimidate from New Fassad while switching back and forth with Reptar" strategy had assumed that Kommo-o would summon Scizor as backup. I was totally unprepared for a Special attacker.
I raised up Amrita the Ribombee and SonOfABeach the Sandygast as backup. My ace strat for Light That Burns The Scrubs was "Intimidate with New Fassad -> Sponge the Power Gem with a Ground-type -> Sponge the Photon Geyser with Reptar -> Sponge the Smart Strike and Intimidate with New Fassad until Ultra Necrozma's Attack is low enough for Reptar to shrug off the Smart Strikes", but U-Necrozma dealt 60% to SonOfABeach with a resisted Power Gem and didn't even try to use Smart Strike after being Intimidated once. I wound up having to sacrifice Amrita in order to heal up and get Reptar in safely so I could use Z-Crunch + Sand damage to polish the damn thing off.
Alas, MiracleFasad was not to be. New Fassad was killed by Mina's Granbull after +0 Aqua Tail missed the KO. Grindr the Bruxish, New Fassad's replacement, died to Kiawe's Arcanine. I now have a fucking Eeveelution on the team. I hate Eevees. Hopefully Auxiliary proves herself worthy, but I'm not holding my breath.
About to go ride the waves until I can teach DACA Aqua Tail. Should be fun.
Also, I'd like a new name for Nidoran. It's actually putting in a surprising amount of work for something with, like, one and a half viable moves right now.
