>>43073395The puzzles are dumb and for children, either do away with them or make them harder and the battles with the smaller trainers more challenging. Generally even the gym leader battle should be harder in my opinion, and maybe make them based around a gimmick or maybe a visual theme rather than a single type so they would have more coverage as well as actually give coverage moves to pokemon so they don't get swept just because of one pokemon in my party with type advantage. I think that would be a bit hard to do knowing gfs incompetence though, probably need to make better AI or have some sort of pre-planed move execution to have npcs be capable of synergising the moves, it would be nice to see gym leaders that rely on clever ways to use abilities and items rather than just try to hit you with some sort of overwhelming force that requires little thought
