Now, the gardening trowel people use these days is descended from a modified mason’s trowel, so you could do a couple of different things. You could use a medieval mason’s trowel, like pic related, or you could use a medieval digging implement and just scale it down. I’m kind of partial to the former, because this trowel just looks cool.
