Plastic is a defensive contrast to Steel.
Rather than being incredibly sturdy, it is elastic/deformable, and can take hits without permanent injury. Plastic quickly recover to original shape when the deforming force is removed.
A cliche designs of a pure Plastic type would be a blob with tentacle limbs.
In terms of offense, the type would cover moves involving whipping opponents with stretchable/whip-like limbs, slamming them with their whole body, inhibiting the opponents movement by gripping them, sticking to them, or devouring them.
Just like Steel, it would sometimes have a flair of artificiality to it.
And a sub-theme involving all things trash and literal plastic.
