>>23121817Figuring out how a Pokemon could look if it actually was a real life animal takes some imagination in of itself. Gengar line, even if you disagree with the execution (and I think it could be better), is pretty brilliant as bats. Dragonite as a giant Japanese salamander is neat too.
I wouldn't really call it "realistic art." It's its own form of style.
