>>56750140Yeah thats what i'd largely point at. Sonic fans have the ability to crank out good games because they actually understand what they want. Sonic was discussions on level design, the physics and ultimately what the game is. Pokemon is generally some weird fanfic with a barely thought out flow of gameplay featuring random shit just thrown in. Some of this can be blamed on Pokemon itself but half of it is that we don't have a billion autists trying to finetune "what makes the perfect pokemon game".
