over the next few days, this "parent" becomes everything arven had always wanted.
but after weeks, arven notices... there's something strange about his parent. a bit daft, and doesn't have much knowledge that stretches out from what arven knows. this parent talks like a professor, but isn't particularly succeeding like they used to.
but he'd rather have a daft and loving parent than an absent one.
over the years, he notices another thing. his parent isn't aging very fast.
one day the protagonist of paladea comes in, talking about this weird sleeping legendary pokemon and all the research done on it. then it clicks for arven. but by this time, he's too attached to imaginary-parent-become-real to disavow them. and now arven feels extremely awkward because he's the one who imagined the parent coming back to life, meaning he spawned the parent, making him the parent of his "parent".
