I think what also helps about her character is having such a fucking dopey Pokemon be her ace. Nobody ever really rocked Slowbro as an ace and the only time I ever really thought about it was as Lorelei's only non-Ice type on her Team. It would've been generic to have her main something "cool" like that evolution of Toxel I forgot the name of, Drapion or one of the snakes but they gave her a stupid scrimblo and it makes her all the more amusing
