As someone who lived through...
- Time machine resitrictions of Gen 1 > 2 trading
- Being unable to transfer from Gen 2 to Gen 3 entirely
- Having a 24 hour refresh time for loading batches of 6 pokemon from Gen 3 to 4
- Moving a box at a time using 2 DS systems to go from gen 4 to 5

I'm TOTALLY ok with paying $5 a year to never have to worry about this shit again. In just 5 min, I had all of my Gen 6 pokemon transferred up and ready for Gen 7. And going from Gen 7 to 8 is also gonna be a 5 min process. This shit is amazing.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does migrating from gen 3 to gen 4 work if both games are NTSC and the DS being used is Japanese? I know that at most, the games used have to be the same region.
