I still don't understand why you brought up Flamethrower. Even if it was a TM in Gen 1 it's a high damaging move with a burn chance so it makes more sense to be a TM than Water Gun which only has the niche of being a failsafe for anyone who's managed to get through Brock's gym and make it to Mt. Moon without an actual check for Geodude.
Were you trying to imply that because I think TMs should be reserved for good moves, that I'm implying Flamethrower was a bad move because it wasn't a TM in gen 1? Because if so, then you're a bigger moron than I thought.
