>>57148602Its wackier when you go really early and you have cards that feel fake by modern standards but its cause they were actually from vending machines or were telephone cards or something to that effect. I have picrel that's on really thick, really glossy card, I definitely ended up with it from summer camp shenanigans in the 90s and I didn't know it was a legit thing until I was dusting off my collection a few weeks ago and looked into it.
Also going through my collection I have a decent amount of Italian base/fossil cards. Always wild to me how that mustve happened since this was before online shopping was a real big thing just wondering how far those cards mustve traveled to me.
